Eating Out

Local Eating places

We have eaten at all these places and can recommend every one depending on the time of day and what you feel like eating, drinking and the ambience you want. They are all good in their own way but all within a 10 minute walk from Rushcutter's Court.

Great place to eat.

A delightful eating place with a Chef that loves to please, Don't expect table cloths and silver service, but good tasty food and nice atmosphere.

I recommend Sunday Lunch, Roast Beef and Yorkshire pudding and mixed veg, or Pork and lamb if you please.

Nice Brunch or coffee

The nearest place for food 2 minutes from Rushcutter's court

Dining in or Out

What more could you ask for.  Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner it's all here with nice view outside of teh landscaped gardens between the high rise.

A good old English pub

You will get good food, good beer and a good view of Greenland dock sitting outside this establishment.

It's what it says on the tin, a value for money meal but don't expect more than what your pay for.

Nice Bar and Grill

A very nice steak house next to Surrey quays Station. It on the main road so seating inside only.

On the River

There are a couple of eating places on or near the River next to the Brunel Museum and St. Mary's Church. These are useful landing places after a walk through Russia Dock Woodland, or a short walk from Rotherithe Rail  or Canada Water Stations

The Mayflower Pub

This has outside bar meals overlooking the river.  There is also an upstairs Restaurant but we have never been able to get a booking. So book early. The bar food is very nice and the pub is very lively in the summer when we have visited.
